Christ’s death is one of the most significant evets in human history, it shook the world, literaly. When darkness rolled in and the earth rumbled, the veil in the temple was torn in to. Not only was the sin of men redeemed, we’re also entering a new chapter in creation.
Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; he endured punishment that made us well; because of his wounds we have been healed.
A new chapter, what do we do? Shall we again keep on falling like we used too? Ancient isralites sin then sacrifice then they sin again. There is something particularly wrong about living this way. In the new covenant however, sin is crushed once and for all.
How should we talk? How should we walk? How should we live? If we are redeemed once and for all does it not mean we should end the bond inside once and for all?
