The First love is always the greatest, that is, in the live of an unfaithful, because the love will keep on degrading and coroding until it is no more, that is a misconception, the first love may be special, but it has to grow, as we grow in Christ we are getting closer and closer to Him we should be loving Him more and more.
And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, I Thessalonians 3:12
The First Love is important nontheless. it depicts the time Jesus through His messengers saved us from the pit of sin into the light where Truth is, The First Love, it is the time we learnt there is more to live than live itself, we learnt to live like a dead man, to live with no desire to worldly success, no desire to own and to posses, no desire to steal and to make war. All things is vanity under the sun
And who knows whether he will be wise or a fool? Yet he will rule over all my labor in which I toiled and in which I have shown myself wise under the sun. This also is vanity. Ecclesiastes 2:19
The First Love, we learnt that there is more to live than death, we learnt that Christ saved us, He Justifies us from our sentence to death, He purifies us from our sins, and finally He Sanctifies us to be the sons of God, and which is who we are now.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. I John 3:1
