There are many ways to live by. Jesus chose this one, actually He obeyed His Father to live according to this Way, the Way of the Cross, the Way of the Father, the Way of Jesus.
By this way, Jesus lived persecuted, in perseverance and ended in a death that gave life to many. We are also to choose the way that we live. According to the way we make ourselves or by the way that our Father chose for us. Jesus took the way that His Father chose for Him and so i think we will be better of doing the same thing for this world is wild, we are exiled from the garden, moreover the dimmension of the presence of God is seperated now from the world of men and that is why we need mediums to communicate to God, like priests and temple with it sacrifices, but we now know as Jesus ascended to Heaven the Holy Spirit came down and we can now contact God directly and He is only as far as a prayer.
Now we want to live in the way of the Father. But who is our Father, we’ve learnt that if we have lived in the communion and fellowship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father of Christ is also our Father, in other words, we are the Son of God. So does that mean that we need to live like Christ, being persecuted and die on the cros. Well, not entirely, we are called to live according to the word of Truth and to love God and brethrens, but the world does not live by this way so we will be disliked and persecuted and we need to persevere.
So do not be proud and calling yourselves as living in the Truth when you are being so successful in worldly things that God didn’t intend for you to do.
And therefore we are ought to live in the way that the Father have planned for us before the creation of the world. Our calling is unique, we may not be called to die on the cross, but we are called to carry our cross, carry our salvation, to work on it. We are saved yes but we need to maintain our salvation. It is once for all yes but we need to stay away from the devil who are able to lead us to another way other than the way of te cross.
So live according to your calling, while carrying the burden of the cross, that way we are truly the sons of God and we live according to our purpose.
Matthew 11:27-30 (NKJV) All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
