WORDS & THOUGHTS

The Peace Offering

🌟 — Remarks —

The people of the ancient Israel offer piece offeringa as a means of obtaining forgiveness from the Lord. They do this by brmurning animals and slaughter creatures which sound rather barbaric. This is where many people stumble while reading the book.

There are many kinds of offering and sacrifices in the bible and they all involves the death of an innocent life to somehow make the sinful men redeemed or forgiven. These innocent sacrifices must also be clean and without blemish. When Jesus died and redeem all man, dead and living, He was a clean prophet and an unblemished innocent soul.

His death mark a connection between us and the Almighty Father and His spirit. His spirit will lead us on and through His spirit we can accomplish great things for this same spirit is the force that woke Jesus from the dead.

🌟 — Reference —

Exodus 31:2-4 (NET) “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God in skill, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, to make artistic designs for work with gold, with silver, and with bronze,

Proverbs 22:29 (NET) Do you see a person skilled in his work? He will take his position before kings; he will not take his position before obscure people.

🌟 — Relevancy —

We too are offerers that need to make offerings. I personslly believe that the Holy Spirit comes at a cost, not that God hinders us from receiving His great powers but simply because the Holy Spirit is a being and like with anyone else, we need to make and maintain a good relationship in order to stay together.

Jesus has a good fellowship with the Father and the Spirit, and if we want to be a part of them we too need to be able to be unblemished like them. It is for the greater good that we need to be unblemished.

Throughout my life, never was i unblemished, days’ve gone darker and evil grew. I was at my holiest when i was an innocent toddler. But i believe there is still hope for me to be holy again. I remember a quote from Jeffrey Rachmat that says: “we are at our holiests when we are creative”

What that means is that Christ is creative and by His word He created all things, now we are made in His image and it makes sense to be creative if we want to be most like Him. And when we are most like Him, isn’t Him holy?

So by being what we are meant to be, we receive many of His other attributes. Many people called me creative, and they thought ideas fall on my face like dew in the morning, no. What they do not know is my hard work to stay creative.

And i believe by doing the work i will be formed into a true image of God. And automatically, sin and fleshly desires will seem like they’re gone. It is not neccessarily that they fled away, it’s sinply because we are getting closer to God and they can’t pass the barriers of love, for the devil is unloved, but we are dearly loved. And that i believe is how we can offer to be a good candidate for being the member of the peaceful fellowship of God.
