WORDS & THOUGHTS

The Obedience of Christ

Hebrews 9:13-14 (NKJV) For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The blood of an animal cleanse the people from transgression but the blood of Christ cleanse our conscience.

When we are purified from sin we are pure until we decide to sin again because redemption can always be bought. A lamb or goat for the rich, a pigeon or grain for the poor. But when Jesus came, He carry with Him the priceless blood, the life of God to be offered for the cleansing of men’s conscience that through Him we are saved.

Many of us still sin right now, and we make excusses of being a work in progress. Yet we can decide the progress, is it going to stagnant or is it moving forward. The cleansing of our conscience should remove us from the desire of sin but we still live in a world full of sin. So we need to start removing sin from the world, seperating the pure and the impure.
