WORDS & THOUGHTS

She is only asleep

🌟 Remarks

We are all just asleep, hopefully. Lying down in our bed of sin and failures, snoozing the will of God for our lives. We can wake up but another 5 minutes won’t be a problem. Until we woke up an hour late for school. We can wake up. And we must wake up, there is a reason to get on our feet and open our eyes.

I don’t think there is any difference between a dead man and an addicted young mind. One who is locked to the systemnof the world, running to and fro like a video game character chased by a monster. And the user is the devil. We need to wake up and get our hands on the controls, moreover lend it to Jesus. That He may complete the game, the good fight, the race.

But we, being flesh and full of glitches, seek comfort and safety, not willing to take a step into the bright futute too bright for our cave eyes. Our futile senses does not want to experience immediate pain for the greater good. Run, run away from temptation. You cannot fight the dragon. Run away and train somewhere else but do not seek the dragon. It will come in its time and we should be ready but never seek the dragon. Do not tempt yourselves lest you be destroyed by your own foolishness.

Run away just like joseph fleeing from the hungry dragon.

She is just asleep, like we all are. Asleep. Asleep from faith and believing that He is able to heal us from our troubles. Waking up is a small matter, but the rest of the day depends on it. The relatives and the families of the presumable dead girl told her father to stop bugging Jesus, this is the end of the line.

But Jesus, noticing their unbelieve, used this moment to glorify GOD, and man He does…

🌟 Reference

1 Timothy 1:18 I put this charge before you, Timothy my child, in keeping with the prophecies once spoken about you, in order that with such encouragement you may fight the good fight.

Genesis 39:12 (NET) She grabbed him by his outer garment, saying, “Have sex with me!” But he left his outer garment in her hand and ran outside.

🌟 Relevancy

In our troubles, let us lose. That He may win us and our battle. We can’t win. It is better to accept the truth than to live in denial.

I used to believe i can do anything and achieve what i want as long as i worked really dmn hard. Until a few days ago that i realised i just can’t. It felt painful, really painful for me to accept the truth, living more than 15 years of believing in my own truth. And not accepting the truth that is the only truth.

Nothing was ever achieved purely of human power, we are but a sinful sack of meat trying to figure out life. But God is life and He have tried so hard to convince our stubborn heart that He is, but we just wouldn’t lisnten until it is too late.

There is this called God’s Grace. Not by might nor power but the Awesome Spirit of God. Fight our best for university, sleep and hope. By His grace we shall prevail.
