WORDS & THOUGHTS

Self-Worth

🌟 Remarks

For the last 2 devotions, we have discussed self related things, human efforts of defining the God given attributes. One other thing we misused ir our value, our worth. We all have worth, being created in the image of God is quite a remarkable thing to be awed. The Creator of this planet that is carefully placed among the other planets in the solar system centered by a sun that produces a billion times more energy than the most efficient man made nuclear powerplant every second. Which is revolving among many other solar systems in the galaxy, which in itself is just a dot amongs the many other galaxies in the local group. Zooming outward our local group which comprises of quite a large amount of galaxies is just billions of lightyears apart from carfully painted intergalactic planetary-dust paintings which we call nebula. Then zooming even further all of this dots combine into a dot that zooms at almost the speed of light into the center of the known universe which is less than 1% of the WHOLE UNIVERSE. The unknown universe is the other 99.9%.

The GOD that created all of that, created mini versions of Himself on this dot. He called us Humans for we are made according to His likeness, with His attributes scales down to us. Our mouth is filled with power to curse and to heal just like how His words created everything. We are given the power of God to play with here on earth, and He so lovingly bravelt added to us free will. Well what happens if yoy add free-will with INTERUNIVERSAL MIGHTY POWERFULL JUMBO SUPREME JESUS CHRIST level power and then encasing all that in a sack of meat and bones like us? Well, not so preferable. It is not His mistake, simply us and our incapability to obey.

As a result we are banished from the garden and bad enough that we are brought down low to the soil and lose our self-worth. Not His fault, again, it is ours. We think by this fault we will never again be reconciled to Him. But GOD prooved us wrong by sending a third of Himself to earth and be like any of us, as men. Yet we pinned Him to a tree, how wonderful…

🌟 Reference

Luke 7:6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not yourself: for I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof:

1 Corinthians 11:29 For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

Matthew 10:30-32 (UKJV) But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear all of you not therefore, all of you are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

🌟 Relevancy

I think it ia quite funny when Jesus points out that we are more valuable than many sparrows, He needs to point it out that way because of our unbearable low point of view of ourselves. We are His image. Yet we created for ourselves images because of our insecurity after failing Him with the free will. But we don’t fix the problem and made it worse. These days people design how they want the world to look at them, not necessarily that they like how they look afterwards, but at least they are accepted by this corrupt society and instagram driven world. Money maker intelligent minds around the world use this effect to lure us into buying and using their apps, social media apps. Because with it, being confident has never been easier. (I hope u guys are relatable enough to understand sarcasm)

They post pictures of them doing charity so that people would think “wow she’s so generous”, then they proceed on putting the best outfit in the fitting room in malls, shoot it at the best angle then post it to make people think “wow she’s so fashionable!”. But this idea extends further into that us christians are invected by the same disease. They speak holy and deep words in the church so that people think “wow he has so much wisdom”, then another proceeds to answer everybody with verses to make them think “wow she’s so holy”. This too is vanity.

The best person capable of being you is you. And there is no need to program others of how they should see you when you yourself have found a clear picture of what you are and where you belong. Cut the bullsith and be yourself. Your succes will speak for itself and beautiful things doesn’t seek attention.
