Receiving the mind of Christ, the renewal of the human heart with the heart of God Himself is what the prophet Jeremiah had always look up to. The Receiving of the mind of Christ will set us free from our worldly mind, but that does not mean that we are totally free as we are still living in this world and still is subjected to immorality by temptation.
However, by receiving the mind of Chrsit, our thinking will be directed to the good and not the bad, we will pursue righteousness rather than avoiding sin. Because when we are with God, who is against us.
