WORDS & THOUGHTS

Light and Darkness

The derivative of truth is misrtuth, there is no truth that is subjective, it is one and only. God is the source of truth, he is truth and will share His truth to this broken word that is deprived od it. Many people think that truth can be according to ther own ciecumstances although in fact, it is singular and apply to all life.

Matthew 6:23 (NKJV) But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

Many people read the bible, and many of them want to apply the biblical perspective of things to ther lives. Bu most of the time they do it the wrong way. For example if bob reads the bible and wants to make the statement that being rich is bad because it prevents us from going to heaven, he will use this verse to strengthen his statement

Matthew 19:24 And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

while leaving behind the other verses that shows another perspective on wealth, and the fact that God has made many people rich in the bible:

Proverbs 19:4 Wealth makes many friends, But the poor is separated from his friend.

Ecclesiastes 5:19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor–this is the gift of God.

So instead of taking the implication of a bible verse and the story it tells, many people use the bible to strengthen their opinion, trying to proof that even God agrees to them, this is not truth.

Truth is reading the whole bible, get the full perspective and then truly understanding what it all means, not taking your own understanding and try to fit the bible in it.

Another example is the 3 wisdom literature in the bible, that is psalms, ecclesiastes, and job

Psalms says that: do good, then you recieve good. pretty straight forward and simple.

Ecclesiastes: not everytime doing good returns you with good, life has a lot of chances.

Job states that: the wicked receive many gifts yet the humble gets trampled on.

So which one is the right one? People that agrees with psalms with post psalmic words on their instagram, people that agrees to ecclesiastes use its words and people that agrees with job job’s words. But this is what we call delusion, you cannot seperate the bible from interconnecting with each other.

read the 3 of them then try to make a conclusion that 3 of them supports, they all lead to one grand point that we call wisdom, so dont just use one of them simply because it works best for your situation.

dont make the bible work for you, make yourself work according to the
