WORDS & THOUGHTS

Joining His prayer

When we say we are able, when we think we can handle the temptation, we can’t and are bound to fall. Never trust the flesh. When Joseph was enticed by the wife of Potiphar, he didn’t rebuke here, he didn’t told her what she did was wrong, he didn’t even prayed for her. He simply sad how can he do such sin to the Lord then He ran away.

Joseph was able to do the right thing partly because he has had many journeys together with God, he is in fellowship with the Lord and but partly because he joins in the prayer of God.

Genesis 39:12-13 (NKJV) that she caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me.” But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside. And so it was, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand and fled outside,

Being joined in the prayer of God requires us to be known by God and to know God intimately. The problem is that many of us are not known by God nor know God that much, while thinking they do. This is dangerous because they will live their whole life being deceived by themselves yet thinking they are safe.

When Adam knew Eve, Eve conceived and bore a child. knowing means to become one flesh and be joined together. That is how intimate the word knowing is. Now when you know God and God knows you, You are in a relationship that is really intimate. You understand His feelings, and He yours. You love Him so much like a treasure a man founds in a field that motivates him to sell everything he has to acquire that field, you will see God like you need nothing else in your life. You just see His glory and stare at His greatness and forgetting every pain that you have received for it is nothing compared to what you receive from Him.

Meanwhile the majority of Christians sing praise and worship songs, prayed before meal, read 1 or 2 chapters a day, do good and they think they are safe and will go to Heaven. Do not be deceived.

Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demo Edns in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
