WORDS & THOUGHTS

How should we pray

Praying is a form of communication but more than that it is the expression of gratitude, to say thank you for what He HAS given us, for what He IS giving us and the thinks we desire that He WILL give to us.

Mark 11:24 (NKJV) Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

For how we should pray, the Bible have all the answersto that, Jesus told His disciples how to pray the prayer of the Father. He also introduced us to the Holy Spirit, who can miraculously enter us and pray using us. Our mouths will utter things that we do not understand yet pleasant.

Luke 18:13-14 (NKJV) And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Besides gratitude and Honor, prayer serves a function as to reveal who we truly are, for from our prayer we utter things only God and the prayer know.

Luke 18:13-14 (NKJV) And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

so how do we pray? With a humble heart, with gratitude, and honesty because God already knows everything about us, what He need is to know we trust Him by telling Him our problems for by doing that we trust that He listens and will strengthen us in our circumstances.
