WORDS & THOUGHTS

Godliness is worship

🌟Remarks

God is not looking for the worship as much as He is looking for the Worshipers.

Indeed God shall be glorified, but what matters to Him is not neccesarily the glory, but moreover the one glorifying Him, for the one glorifying Him will participate in His fellowship, not as a reward but as a consequence.

Think it like this, before anything, there was the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the three are one. And continuously they express love to one another in the trinity, why? Because God is love and God is before anything. Love requires a subject to love and another to be loved. So by doing this they are eternally one

joined by love in the fellowship.

🌟Relevancy

When we worship God it is not because we are scared or forced to do it. It is because we are aiming for something. And that something is an eternal coexistence with God, and moreover, dwelling in the fullness of His presence, the integral part of all life.

Everyform of service, whether it is giving, helping, worshiping whatever, is an act of offering a part of ourself to the one we are serving. That is the meaning of being a servant. A slave that give himself to his master let go his freedom because he knows it is in good hands. When we worship, we are offering a part of ourself and let it go to Him, because in the matter of owning one’s life, who is a better candidate than the God of all.

Similarly in the fellowship, we offer our secrets, our dark history, our memories, our troubles not because the brethren demands that, no, it is because by letting go to others something that is so deep to us, we are making a bond with the brethren. Don’t even talk about fellowship, this rule can be found in normal friendship, tell a good friend your jokes, your secrets and by letting go a part of you just like an electron, you create an ionic bond that is harder to break than when nothing is shared like a covalent bond.
