The experience of being loved and the action of loving are just 2 sides of the same coin, when we are taken care of and nurtured by our parents, we feel love. When we love our parents we also feel the our love for them. So being loved and to love is the same.
However not every loved person are able to love, or every person that loves are loved. But they both still feel the experience of love, either it is for themselves or for others to experience. They both are still satisfied and feel comforted by love.
we are enabled to love, to feel and to do it, but we don’t because we are egoistic, we don’t have the guts to be humble and just love. People think that people that love others are weak and soft and feeble. But even a fierce warrior that have true faith in Christ can love the simplest things.
Only the humble can serve others, only those with love can share love to other people.
The first time the word love appears in the bible is when God tells Abraham to sacrifice his only son, a forshadow to God sacrificing His only Son for humanity.
Genesis 22:2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
