Coming to the throne of grace

Hebrews 4:14-16 (NKJV) Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

We all sin and we all need redemption, except one person that is Jesus Himself. He passed through the world as we are yet do not sin. Not only that, He forgave many sins of others while He live.

Now we can also be redeemed but through confession, we need to tell the fellowship our sins and with a little bit of faith we will be cleansed. The problem most of us face is that we are afraid of confessing, moreover when we are the one person someone look up to. When we are respected, and in authority.

We worry that people will lose respect of us when we commit our great sin, we worry we cannot be an example to people but a bad one. But all that are just worries. Take extreme ownership of your mistakes, take extreme ownership of your sins. And take extreme ownership of your life.

Responsibility is on your hand and it is yours to use our abuse. When you commit your sins and mistake, people won’t lose respect of you, authorities will not lower you down or throw you away. Instead of your do it right, you will instead be exalted and people will see that you control your life and take responsibilities. God too will see that you are capable of more and we’ll
