WORDS & THOUGHTS

By His Stripes we are Healed from the Pride of Life

We are all proud beings, all of us. We feel satisfaction most of the times when we do something that works and not always when it is something God planned. But it works, therefore we are proud. I believe that we have found our calling when we do something we enjoy, but then we do not feel proud about it, then that is our true calling because when we feel proud of something, it is the honor and respect from other people that we take in as the benefit of doing that particular thing, an not from doing it just for the sake of it.

His death on the cross marks our victory. He suffered for us as the real sacrifice so that through His death and ressurection we can live again. Throughout the life of Jesus, He was a very humble man, that is something we can learn, He led Himself to victory whilst being humble in the process.

It is really difficult to be humble these days because simply, a bit of egoistic behaviour is needed in order to succed.

For exampls:

you are the top student in the class on day there is a bio test, and then study hard and everything. But then one day on the way to school, there was somebody you know needing help to go somewhere that is one route with the school, but then you prefer not to help because you need to arrive on time, there was something you could do that is good, but you didn’t

James 4:17 (NKJV) Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Being proud can stop us from growing into the person we can be, from our pfull potential because it draws a line that says success, we feel that we are successful becuase a lot of people beleieve and like us and our works.

But a true calling and identity is when we do not care of success or acknowledgement but it is when we truly enjoy what we do and we do it not for anyone not even us, but just for the sake of it.

jesus’ death on the cross remined us that it is possibleto be kind, be humble, and win.
