WORDS & THOUGHTS

Baptised into His Death

Being baptised into His Death means that we are welded into His own body, we live no longer by the desires of our flesh but rather the desire of the good work that is in Him. By this we are incapable of desiring for sin but there is the possibility. Nontheless we are switched to a mode of offering. Our minds and soul will be directed to the ministry and so the fruits of ou flesh is an exercise of goodness.

Hebrews 13:20-21 (NKJV) Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

But to get to this level of spiritual maturity one must persevere through trials and persecussion that kills the desires of one’s flesh slowly until it has no more rejoice in the works if men. The works of men that are useless and leads to nothing but vanity, the chasing of the wind, unimportant knowledge, lush wealth, lust, etc

Through this trials one’s mind is matured and chastened, being molded the hard way to see the bigger picture of life and forced to seek a deeper meaning of existance. One will no more build glory in this world but rather collect treasures in Heaven. Where thiefs don’t steal and items do not rot.

By the wiping out of the vain desires of the flesh from one’s mind, One will go into the next level of spiritual maturity and knows what it means to be
