WORDS & THOUGHTS

A religious Zealot

Thinking we are fulfilling one thing while actually missing a bunch of others. Thinking we are succeding while atually being fooled by. Apparently living in lies is the truth that is happening. We are all fooled everyday, not only in religion but in other areas in life.

We go to church and we sing a worship song, and we THINK we are the children of God, we jump and shout singing songs that are full of praise that means we are enthusiast with God right? No you are just going to a night club, only it uses christian songs, you don’t really care about Jesus, you just like the music.

We go to bible study and learn about the end times, that means we are so ready for the rapture right? NO you are a hypocrite. We go to youth every week and now we can call everyone our brethrens because we are so suddently close to everyone right? No you don’t know anybody.

Everyday we live in these lies, lies that are rarely talked about, some people know it but they do their best to “THINK POSITIVE” when they are actually tolerating their follishness, lying to themselves so that they FEEL like they are doing just FINE. It is difficult and uncomfortable to talk about because it is build into the system, schools gotta lie that they teach hands-on, that they will teach passionately, all those commercial photos are all scripted as we know. Teachers mostly don’t even care about you, they teach get money go home. That is the painful truth we have to live in. And friends, do you think you have friends? Think again, if you lose everything and suddently become an idiot, who will walk beside you? Mockers will be with you.

They do not need you, they simply want your “self”, they want your flesh. If you are handsome, if you are pretty, they only want your body, people want ot hang out with cool looking humans, but do they really need you? Not really.

That is why Solomon is very tired of life, not depressed, just annoyed and pity the pathetic glith that he found in the system. The smart doesn’t always become rich, there are many foolish intelectuals. The good life doesn’t always come to the humble, you get used by other people instead.

In his book ecclesiastes, Solomon calls this “chance”

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that– The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

But we are believers (are you?), we live life by grace and we should learn to be grateful with any cirumstances, lower your standars of joy that you may be glad even in the darkest valleys and not only because of Rp300k per person restaurants. Be Humle and kind like the Dove, But be smart like the snake.
