WORDS & THOUGHTS

A Joyful realization

๐ŸŒŸ Remarks

We all want to be good at something, because naturally that is the human behaviour. Wanting to have a place in this world that we are truly of our own, a place to truly be unique and home. But along the way of achieving that dream, humans often fail. But as they fail they are convincing themselves that they are not and they can achieve what they want as long as they worked hard and strong.

Only to fall back down and rise back up again. It is both beautiful and disasterous, we do not give up, we fight, we fall, we rise back up. Sounds motivational and rather poetic. But this is the cycle of death, being imprisoned in our own desires but never truly achieve satisfaction.

We just cannot accept that we canโ€™t. Just like Sisyphus who worked so hard to push the stone uphill only to roll over and start all over again. But the realization that we will never succeed and the believe that we cannot, it frees us from the slavery of vanity.

๐ŸŒŸ Reference

Zechariah 4:6 (NET) Therefore he told me, โ€œThese signify the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: โ€˜Not by strength and not by power, but by my Spirit,โ€™ says the Lord who rules over all.โ€

๐ŸŒŸ Relevancy

I too was a strong believer in the human spirit, the strong and hard-working pride. But only recently do i came into the realization that i cannot, i just cannot. I have touched my human limits of greatness, but the Lord is able to pull that limit up with the introduction of His Spirit over my own.

Once i believe in Him and not me, i obviously do not know what He wants to do to me, but i believe it is for good. Then things started to shift, i no longer plan too much nor fight too much for He is the one who fights for me.
